The Garmin Descent Mk2 bridges the gap between dive computers and smartwatches, innovating directly from the Garmin Descent Mk1, which took the first big step forward in this direction by allowing smartphone integration and hosting lifestyle features rather than solely diving. Garmin has blown away the competition with the Mk2, offering a high-end computer and advanced sport plus fitness watch simultaneously.

The Descent Mk2 offers endless features both as a dive computer and a smartwatch. It features normal recreational, technical, and CCR dive modes, as expected in a high-end computer. It has a built-in GPS to supplement dive log information (entry/exit points), and if you wear the computer against your skin, the heart rate and Pulse Oxygen sensors will record data to be used for more accurate decompression calculations.

The Descent Mk2 also performs great on land, with a wide range of sports activities and advanced training features. It can be connected to a compatible smartphone to use of various features such as Garmin Pay for contactless payments, download and store music to listen to while training, receive smart notifications, and connect to the Garmin app to benefit from incredible support and updates. The Descent Mk2 will continue to be updated with regular firmware to improve function and features, making this computer valuable for a long time after your purchase.
